Old Customs House Key West
ReviewsOur vacation this year was so much fun, we can't wait to return next season. We stayed at the Old Customs House Inn. Located on Duval Street in the historical downtown "Old Town Key West". A very cozy place to stay and walking distance to everything. One morning we woke and walked to the seaport for a glass bottom boat trip. Seeing the living coral reef from the underwater viewing area while being down in the hull of the boat was astonishing. I didn’t think it would be as cool as it was but it turned out to be the highlight of out trip.
That evening we walked to the Worlds Smallest Bar which was right next door along with Hog’s Breath. It’s hard to say which is the best bar within stumbling distance of this hotel, but it’s fair to say the top ten are within crawling distance. They are open and well packed with a lot of people having a ball and live music at just about every one of them. If you want convenience and an affordable place to stay, Old Custom House Inn is the place to visit. There’s nothing anywhere near it in price for where it is. I checked out the hotels all around the OCH and they were significantly higher in price. You get simple, clean room to sleep in and if you don’t need the prestige then stay here.
